Here is an event you may be interested in (or other Deaf may want to attend) at the Cathedral City Library.

It’s on June 21 from 1-4pm and people can come and go as they please.

 

They will have a Community closet/pantry (gender affirming clothing)

​

Free food - enchiladas, drinks, some refreshing dessert

​

Local queer community groups/orgs

​

Some artists/businesses selling items.

​

art workshops: DIY alternative clothing/accessories, a community painting, jewelry making, and then will also have a program going during June where people can make 2D or 3D 4x4 squares with any designs that represent their queer pride. They will combine all submissions into a collage and hang it up in the library. They will have materials for people to make that as well.

​

Open mic - for people to present, read, sing, or Sign.

​

They will also do a post for people to submit submissions anonymously and others can choose them to read.
