On Monday, December 1st, the Palm Springs AIDS Memorial Task Force will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Palm Springs AIDS Memorial at 11:00 AM in the Downtown Park Amphitheater to commemorate World AIDS Day. The event is open to the public and will include a chance to meet the artist, see a scale model, and help close the fundraising gap for the project, according to the Palm Springs AIDS Memorial Task Force.
It will be ASL interpreted.
They will have tables of many vendors set up. You just walk through and ask questions or talk to the vendors. There will be interpreters available. December 7th. 2:00 - 6:00pm

Speaking of "cool", I am excited to announce that Modern Men's Holiday concert "Cool Yule" will be at the fabulous, newly restored Plaza Theatre in downtown Palm Springs. As noted above, we have been named Ensemble in Residence and we are very excited to perform in this amazing venue!

Featuring powerhouse guest artists from Dean McDowell’s Desert Winds Jazz Band, this high-energy spectacle blends the rich harmonies of over 140 voices with the sizzling sounds of a full jazz ensemble. From a fiery “Hot Hanukkah” to a frosty-fun “Little Jack Frost Get Lost,” we are reimagining holiday classics with bold new arrangements that will have you grooving from start to finish. It’s festive, fresh, and absolutely unmissable.

Click on the offer link and enter the passcode MMASL2
You will then see that Orchestra Right is highlighted in blue. Click on the section and this will show the available discounted seats in blue. Select the seats desired and proceed to the checkout.
I want to thank the Modern Men Board for showing their appreciation to our loyal Deaf and Hard of Hearing audience members by setting the ASL ticket price at $46.30 (including all fees) plus tax. This price reflects an approximate 40% discount on the regular price of these seats.
Please note, these seats will be exclusively available to this mailing list until November 1, 2025. At that point, the general public will be able to access these seats via the website. So please purchase your seats early!
